Listed here you will find postings of equipment hardware, disposables, testimonials of perfusionists and charitable organizations.

PWOB Student Scholarship

AmSECT would like to encourage perfusionists to embark on cardiac mission trips. To that end, the PWOB Committee is providing a scholarship of up to $3000 to a student who wishes to be a part of a mission trip. Please email a completed application found on this page and all supporting information to sniders@summahealth.org. The applicant should be in their clinical year and have the approval of a previously selected mission organization for a student to accompany a practicing perfusionist before applying for the scholarship.

Charitable Organizations

This list is composed of some of the charitable organizations that provide life saving care for those with cardiovascular disease in areas of the world that would otherwise not have access to this type of healthcare. AmSECT does not necessarily endorse these organizations or the content of their websites, but intends this list as a resource for its members who are interested in providing their services on one of these mission trips. If you are aware of a reputable organization that is not listed please contact the PWOB Committee Chair to have the group listed.
